Yard sales are this week

COTTONWOOD — Cottonwood town-wide yard sale day is set for May 16. It is being organized by “The Clowns” Relay for Life team. There is sure to be lots of yard sales so you will be able to find whatever it is you are looking for. Summit Academy will be having a yard sale at the store located between B&R Stove and Mager Bargains on Main St., Cottonwood. If you can help prepare for the sale, come on Thursday, May 14, from 3:30-5 p.m.

COTTONWOOD — I hope all mothers had a happy Mother’s Day. We went for a drive in the mountains behind Grangeville. It was very pretty up there and we only saw a little bit of snow.

Graduation Mass for the high school seniors will be held at the 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary’s in Cottonwood on May 17. All graduating seniors of all faiths are invited. Please arrive early in the back room with your cap and gown. A cake reception will follow. Congratulations, seniors.

2015 Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament, “On a Swing and a Prayer,” will be held on Saturday, July 11. Brown Strauss Steel of Salt Lake City, Utah, is the major sponsor for this year. The KC’s are looking to fill hole and tee sponsors and teams. If you want to sponsor a hole or tee only, the cost is $200 each. If you sponsor both a tee and hole the cost is $300. Team spots are open so sign up while they last! Entry fee is $100 per person, $600 prize to the first-place team. Call Ryan Uhlenkott at 791-0492, or Dale McElroy at 983-7608. This event helps numerous charities each year. Your help in this fund-raising project is very much appreciated. Your support and willingness to help with this fund-raiser is much appreciated.
