Cottonwood Senior Citizens



— Dolores VonBargen opened the Nov. 10 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance and also led the dinner prayer. Guests were Bobbie Schmidt and Fred Vogel. There were 51 meals served with 20 takeouts. Isabelle Kaschmitter won the free dinner. Hilda Nuttman and Norma Schumacher each shared a joke with the group.

Sylvia Forsmann won the nickel bingo pot while Hilda Nuttman won the blackout. Door prize winners were Mary Ann Kuther, Jim Beckman, Bobbie Schmidt, Fred Vogel and Vern Uhlorn.

Come join us for a meal every Tuesday for a small donation at the Cottonwood Community Church basement. Meals are served at noon.

Menu for Nov. 24: Happy Thanksgiving - roast turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, California blend veggies, cranberry sauce and apple cobbler. This will also be the birthday meeting and the Fiddlers will be performing.
