— Thanksgiving dinner will be served Nov. 26 free at the American Legion Hall. The Upper Clearwater Valley Ministerial Association, made up of area churches, is hosting the luncheon. All members of the community are welcome to attend. This will be a show of solidarity in the community that has been through so much in the last several months. Even those who did not lose their homes, suffered with the evacuations, smoke and fear that goes with an event like the fires we all lived through. Food will be served from noon until around 1:30 p.m.. For additional information, food donation, or if you could help with the preparation or serving call Reverend Luann Howard 935-2251.

Marty Wilkins of the Kamiah Post Office recently received a letter of appreciation from the Postal Service and I for one would like to add my own kudos to her. Many times I have needed answers and had to wait for her to return since she seems to have all the answers and an engaging smile. Kamiah is much blessed to have such a pleasant, competent lady working in our post office.
