— The Cottonwood Saddliers and 4-H Club is sponsoring the lighted Christmas parade on Sunday, Dec. 13. Lineup will be at the Catholic Church parking lot at 4:30 p.m. with the parade starting at 5 p.m. After the parade, head down to the fire station for the Santa Cabana and enjoy hot cocoa, coffee, hot dogs and a picture with Santa! We will also be collecting unwrapped toys for the St. Mary’s Hospital Giving Tree.

I did not have an article last week because I was canning and freezing sauerkraut. A group of neighbors got together and made it two week before. I think this is the best batch we have ever made. It was lots of fun getting together, plus the benefits of sauerkraut.

The Knights of Columbus are selling “Keep Christ in Christmas” cards. A new case of cards has just arrived and they are available for sale. Contact Joe Didier at 962-7140 if you would like to look at the selection. They will be in the back of each of our Catholic churches. Thank you for supporting the Knights of Columbus.
