Congress has wrong priorities in wake of national gun violence

Letter: Rober G. Schultze, Riggins

U.S. Congress promoting and condoning the mass shooting and killing of U.S. citizens

We have a bunch of useless, negative people in our U.S. Congress whose only interest is in getting themselves elected to another term in Congress.

While Americans are being killed by gun violence every day, their biggest accomplishment for the last year is “harassing Hillary Clinton for the accidental deaths of four Americans in Benghazi.” They haven’t spent one dime protecting innocent American students and citizens from gun violence. After pulling the biggest military blunder in American history in Iraq, which caused the deaths of thousands of innocent people, including our own, they have the nerve to badger Hillary Clinton about four deaths in Benghazi.

Instead of protecting American people form gun violence (which should be their job) these hoodlums are now busy chasing Hillary’s e-mails. I now have a lot more respect for Speaker of the House, John Boehner. He finally got his belly full of the rotten bunch that he was forced to deal with. With their hands in the pockets of the NRA and the gun lobbies, protecting innocent people from gun violence won’t be their priority. Let’s vote these bums out.
