Pirates-Kubs showdown drops Friday

As observers across North Central Idaho anticipated, the Kubs and the Pirates both kept up perfect Whitepine League records — but one win streak will end in what fans of all stripes figure will be an epic confrontation at 7 p.m. this Friday night, Oct. 23, at Kamiah.

Prairie (7-0, 5-0 WPL) thrashed Potlatch 86-6 on a night standout Jake Bruner notched seven touchdowns. Terran Peery marked his return to the PHS lineup with a touchdown trifecta: he threw one to  Bruner, caught one from Bruner, and ran one in.

Kamiah (7-0, 5-0 WPL) made short work of Genesee on a night standout Parker Whipple notched five scores. Bailey Christopherson housed two of Whipple’s passes as well as a touchdown run.
