Grangeville Senior Citizens

The Oct. 19 meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stan Modrell and the prayer was given by Shirley Crane. The free dinner came to Mel Willis. There were 55 meals and 42 takeout meals served. Nickel bingo winner was Donna Hazelbaker and blackout winner was Dolores Kindall.

The Oct. 23 meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stan Modrell and the prayer was given by Jim Myers. Guests were Ed and Connie Anderson. The free dinner came to Ray Hazelbaker. There were 75 meals and 23 hot meals and 100 frozen meals served.

Nickel bingo winner was Eileen Hazelbaker and blackout winner was Willene Lance.

The menu for Oct. 30: Halloween – spaghetti, meat balls, green beans, tossed veggie salad, apricots, chocolate cupcakes; Nov. 2: barbecue chicken, green beans, carrot, raisin, pineapple salad, whole wheat roll.

Ski swap slated to run two days, Nov. 20-21

GRANGEVILLE — Snowhaven Ski and Tubing Area will be holding their annual ski swap at the Grangeville High School cafeteria next month, Nov. 20-21. The sale runs that Friday evening and Saturday morning. Consignments will be accepted Friday evening from 5-6 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 8-9 a.m. The swap runs Friday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, 9-11 a.m.

Any consigned items not sold must be picked up by noon that Saturday. All consigned items will be assessed a 20 percent commission on sold items. Contact Wasem at 962-3656.
