Cottonwood Senior Citizens

— Agnes Forsman opened the Sept. 1 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance and Larry Clark led the dinner prayer. There were no guests this week. There were 49 meals served with 12 takeouts. Jane Burgess won the free dinner.

Jane Burgess, Chris Remacle and Larry Clark each shared a joke with the group.

Ingrid Mader and Katie Remacle split the nickel bingo pot while Remacle and Judy Arledge split the blackout. Door prize winners are Ralph Sprute, Tom Terhaar, Gen Broker, Norma Schumacher, Barbara Rehder and Ned Forsmann.

Come join us for a meal every Tuesday for a donation at the Cottonwood Community Church basement. Meals are served at noon.

Menu for Sept. 15: summer ratatouille, whole wheat couscous, sour cream, cheesecake, mixed berries.
