KOOSKIA The Kooskia Saddliers met at the Kooskia Saddliers Arena. Attendees: Lauretta Crabtree, Paula Davis, Madelon Gribble, Louise Haukedahl, Debbie Needham, LeAnn Nelson, Elaine Pearsons, Tammy Westfall, Emily Wiley.
Old Business: More advertising signs have been made and hung up by Paula Davis. Bill to fix the pump was paid, but now pump will start, but will not run. Louise will call person to fix it. Eric Nelson suggested to LeAnn that we just buy a new pump. The cost is less than $300. New hoses are also needed.
New Business: Arena: Front gate. When you leave the arena and lock the gate, make sure that you do not put our lock above the other lock present. The other lock belongs to Avista (electric company). O-Mok-Sees: When there is a tie, there will be a runoff or a coin toss. This will be announced at the beginning of the O-Mok-See. Kooskia Days O-Mok-See: Starting 2016 the O-Mok-See will be held on Sunday instead of Saturday after the Kooskia Days parade. Parade will be Saturday, Aug. 6, and the O-Mok-See will be the next day, Sunday, Aug. 7.
Queen tryouts will be Saturday, Oct. 3, starting at 9 a.m. at the Kooskia Saddliers arena.
The next meeting will be Saturday, Oct. 3, after the queen tryouts (9 a.m.) Kooskia Saddliers Arena.

Dues for 2015 can be mailed to Kooskia Saddliers. P.O. Box 103, Kooskia, ID 83539. When you send in your dues, list any changes in your e-mail address, mailing address and/or telephone number. Cost is $15 per individual (over 12 with parent/guardian consent); $25 couples or one adult and one child; $30, family membership including all ages of children. The notarized membership form remains in effect continuously as long as dues are kept current.
