Cottonwood Senior Citizens
Agnes Forsman opened the Sept. 22 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance and also led the dinner prayer. We had a guest speaker this week. Emily Banosiah from Idaho Relay gave a talk on closed caption on home telephones. New members in attendance were Ray and Ellen Alfock. There were 44 meals served with 19 takeouts and 18 frozen meals. Elred Nuxoll won the free dinner.
Ned Forsmann and Dixie Scharrad each shared a joke with the group.
There was no bingo played this week. Door prize winners were Dolores Seubert, Mary Ann Kuther, Ingrid Mader, Isabel Kaschmitter, Ron Sonnen and Judy Arledge.
Come for a meal every Tuesday for a small donation at the Cottonwood Community Church basement. Meals are served at noon.

Grangeville Senior Citizens
The Sept. 14 meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stan Modrell and the prayer by Orville Biggers. The free dinner came to Arlene Koberstein. There were 65 meals and 43 takeout meals served.
Jokes were told by Shirley Crane.
Nickel bingo winner was Betty Stoorza and blackout winners were Dolores Kindall and Jim Barnett.
The Sept. 18 meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stan Modrell and the prayer was given by Jim Myers. Guests were Jeanette Header, Tim Header, Winifred Johnston, Annelee and Paul Rolvick, Fran Holland, Thea and Coe Vidgang and Carla and Toon Rolvick. There were 87 meals, 44 takeout and 95 frozen meals served.

The menu for Sept. 25: turkey noodle bake, steamed broccoli and carrots, green salad, lite ranch dressing, whole wheat roll and fruit cup; Sept. 28: lasagna, peas, green salad and apricots.
Eagles Bingo set twice monthly
The Grangeville Eagles and Aerie on C Street hosts Bingo twice a month. These games are held the second and fourth Sundays of the month, 2 p.m., at the Eagles Hall. Those 18 and older are invited to join.
