LOWELL/SYRINGA – Dr. Morgan Wright went boating on the Lochsa last weekend, he took the “MoJo” out to get the cobwebs off. And with the mighty Lochsa at 4.3 feet at the Lowell Bridge it must have blown those cobwebs clear into the state of Washington! The sun was shining and the wasps are out in full force, sweat bees, too.

Three Rivers Rafting is starting their guide trips and rolling out all their boats for the whitewater season this week. Well, all except the Upper Selway boats, those roll out in June.

The Smith’s, Marty, Dani, Max had a delicious family dinner last Sunday at the Wilderness Inn. They said it was nice and busy, good food and nice people. As they enjoyed the river view they could see building going on just across the river behind the resort.

Lara Smith, librarian at the elementary school at Clearwater Valley, is in the middle of Book Fair this week. It is a great event, best ever and so is the librarian!

Rivers rising, sun is shining, life is good!
