Recycling options in Cottonwood, Grangeville, Kooskia, Riggins

Recycling for cardboard, office paper, plastics, tin and aluminum cans is available at Idaho County Recycling sites in Cottonwood, Grangeville, Kooskia and Riggins. E-waste is also taken, except for items with screens (e.g., TVs, computer monitors).

  • The Grangeville site is open Saturdays, 9-11 a.m., on Day Road north of U.S. Highway 95.
  • The Cottonwood site is open Saturdays, 9-11 a.m., across from Columbia Grain.
  • The Kooskia site is open Saturdays, 10 a.m.-noon, near the old pole yard.
  • The Riggins site is open monthly every third Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Riggins Rodeo Arena dumpsters.

Office paper collection bags are available for rent.
