Sponsored content: Prepared for hunting season?

It’s time to start preparing your vehicles for hunting season.

It’s a good idea to clean the undercarriage before heading to the woods because, otherwise, you might be giving noxious weeds a free ride to your hunting ground. Once they take hold, weeds can overrun the grass at your favorite No Tellum Ridge.

It’s also a good idea – and can save you money – to clean up your machine before taking it to the shop.

If your ATV or UTV needs to be seen in the repair shop before opening day, it’s time to make an appointment at Bud’s PowerSports.

That’s because some repairs take time to complete because replacement parts will need to be ordered. Those who wait until the day they’re heading out to check their machine’s readiness may not be able to get to the front of the line before the day comes – and it can take a few days to get spare parts in.

That’s according to Nate Gentry, parts and service manager at Bud’s PowerSports.

“We get a pretty good rush around hunting season,” Gentry said. “Don’t wait until the last minute.”
