Preparing For The Taco Feed

Fifteen members of the Big Cedar Homemakers met Aug. 10 at the Big Cedar Schoolhouse to finalize plans for their annual Navajo Taco Feed. The proceeds from this event are used for the maintenance and improvements of the Big Cedar School building, combination storage shed and the pavilion. Last year these funds helped with rewiring costs.

BIG CEDAR -- Fifteen members of the Big Cedar Homemakers met Aug. 10 at the Big Cedar Schoolhouse to finalize plans for their annual Navajo Taco Feed. The proceeds from this event are used for the maintenance and improvements of the Big Cedar School building, combination storage shed and the pavilion. Last year these funds helped with rewiring costs. This year funds will go toward repainting this historic schoolhouse. The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 17. Members will serve meals from 5-7 p.m. with the raffle drawings taking place at 6:30 p.m.
