Christmas Luncheon

Seniors and others from throughout the region were treated to a special Christmas luncheon at Grangeville Senior Citizens Center Friday, Dec. 2. The event was sponsored by Stuivenga Vessey Drilling, ClearView Eye Clinic, Subway, Idaho Forest Group, Syringa Hospital and Clinics, Syringa Thrift Shop and Syringa Hospital Foundation as well as the senior center nutrition program. The main course was prime rib, baked potato and steamed broccoli, accompanied by a green salad and roll, sparkling cider and other beverages and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Nearly 200 people were served by Syringa employees. A variety of door prizes were awarded following the meal.
