Open house set for trophy hunters’ input



Idaho Fish and Game is currently in the process of setting seasons for trophy species (moose, mountain goat, and bighorn sheep) for the 2017-18 seasons.

Sportspersons have the opportunity to provide input on these hunts at an upcoming open house scheduled for noon to 7:00 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Clearwater Regional Office, 3316 16th Street in Lewiston.

A complete list of statewide season proposals and the opportunity to comment online is available through idfg.idaho.gov/

comment. Comments can be mailed to: 2017-2018 Big Game MSG Species Season Proposals, PO Box 25, Boise, ID 83707. The deadline is Jan. 4.

All comments will be presented to the Idaho Fish and Game Commission prior to setting the seasons at their meeting in Boise on Jan. 26.
