Pioneer Senior Citizens

Dolores VonBargen opened the Dec. 6 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance and she and Hilda Nuttman led the dinner prayer. There were 38 meals served with 24 home-deliveries. Bad weather kept the numbers down. Buddy Hood won the free meal.

There was no bingo this week as just about everyone was wanting to get home as more snow was being predicted. Door prize winners were Elred Nuxoll, Carol Altman, Loycie Sonnen, Ralph Sprute, Peg Uhlorn and Sharalyn Forsmann.

Meals are served at noon every Tuesday for a small donation at the Pioneer Senior Center in the Cottonwood Community Hall basement.
