Fund-raiser breakfast to help Arnzen attend conference in D.C.

— Have breakfast made for you on New Year’s Day and help a local student to boot.

Grangeville High School junior Kyra Arnzen has been invited to the National Youth Leadership Forum: Law and CSI Division six-day conference on forensics in Washington, D.C.

“I have taken a forensic course and been applying for many forensic science programs as well as competing in the forensic science division in HOSA,” Arnzen said. Due to this and a high score on the ASVAB, she was nominated to participate in the mock trial/investigation conference.

To help her raise funds for the trip, Shiznits will offer a fund-raiser breakfast express Jan. 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A deluxe breakfast of hash browns and gravy, three sausage links, two pancakes, scrambled eggs and orange juice will be available for $8 apiece. Each of those foods will also be available as al la carte items. Donations will also be accepted.

Call 983-8045 for orders. Delivery is available in town or pick up food at the Shiznit food trailer on Main Street (across from Syringa Hospital). Shiznits accepts cash and all major credit cards.
