Parish dinner is Feb. 28

KEUTERVILLE — Holy Cross/St. Mary’s Parish dinner will be Feb. 28 at Holy Cross Hall in Keuterville. Work schedules are posted on back bulletin boards at St. Mary’s, sign up to help with a shift. Adult help is always needed and this is a great opportunity for kids to get in their volunteer hours for scholarship applications and for Confirmation requirements, etc.

Believe it or not, it is fun to take a shift and work with others and socialize. Chairpersons for the dinner are Heath and Tara Klapprich. If you want to donate to the raffle contact Glenn Poxleitner.

Congratulations to Ryan and Heather Uhlenkott for the first baby born at St. Mary’s Hospital. Gage Francis Uhlenkott was born Jan.15, weighing seven pounds and seven ounces. He joins seven siblings who, I’m sure, will welcome him.

A morning with Dr. Scott Hahn: In a rare visit to Idaho, come listen to renowned author, Bible scholar, international speaker, and Catholic convert, Dr. Scott Hahn. The event will be at St. Mark’s Church in Boise on Saturday, Feb. 20. The morning begins with Mass at 7:45 a.m. followed by presentations from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on his conversion story, the Holy Eucharist, and the New Evangelization. No tickets are necessary. A free-will offering will be taken. Contact Chris Kreslins at 350-7547 or e-mail
