Syringa Hospital’s main entrance and front parking lot is open to public. The main entrance is designated for any non-emergency check-ins such as laboratory and radiology testing or patient visitors. Those checking in to the Primary Care Clinic should still use the clinic main entrance doors. Those looking to pay bills or who have questions about billing can be helped at the business office, previously the LeBlanc building.

Lewis-Clark State College Grangeville Outreach will offer the course Organic versus Traditional Gardening Monday, Feb. 22, 6-8:30 p.m. This will be instructed by Mike and Joan Mount in the Grangeville Elementary Middle School community room. Thanks to Bettie’s Floor and Décor for providing ceramic tiles for a local church craft project last weekend. Your generosity is appreciated!

However, don’t worry if you did not get a chance to buy something: The group will host at least two more ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) fund-raisers this year. Right now, organizer Emma Roach said, “things are going great!” and the group raised $350.

It was a very good Grangeville Chamber of Commerce meeting at Oscar’s Restaurant Jan. 21. Avista representatives gave a wonderful presentation and the food was great: grilled chicken with peppers and cheese and wild rice, salad and bread with whipped honey butter. More about this meeting next week!
