GRANGEVILLE Grangeville’s Free Summer Concert Series has been scheduled to run Thursday nights, July 14, through Aug. 4.
“We tried to concentrate on local area talent this year,” said organizer Rachel Young.
Programs are as follows:
*July 14, the country group Chad Bramlet Band out of Lewiston.
*July 21, the “little bit of everything band” Vintage Youth from Grangeville, featuring Ted and Wendy Lindsley, Kim Johnson, Todd Marek and Mike Johnson.
*July 28, the blues band Phoenix 99 out of Moscow.
*Aug. 4, country singer Josh Crosby from Kooskia.
All performances take place in Grangeville’s Pioneer (City) Park and start at 6 p.m. The concerts are family friendly and attendees are encouraged to bring along chairs, blankets and picnic dinners. Those who choose to can also allow their children to swim in the Grangeville City Pool during concerts.
Remember, dogs are not allowed in Pioneer Park. The concert series in sponsored by Grangeville Chamber of Commerce and Grangeville Arts, Inc. Although the concerts are free to attend, donations will be taken to help offset entertainment costs.
