Bingo set for Kamiah

KAMIAH – American Legion Post No. 75 will host Bingo this Friday, July 15, 7:30 p.m. This is set for the American Legion Hall, 618 Main Street. Concessions will be open and $100 blackout and 50/50 drawing will be held. Call Ron Funnemark with questions: 935-0294.

Kinder Ready Klub accepting applications for fall

GRANGEVILLE — Kinder-Ready Klub is currently accepting enrollment for its pre-l program for the 2016-2017 school year.

Class is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:15 a.m. through the end of the regular school day (September-May). The goal is kindergarten readiness. Transportation is available from a child’s morning preschool program. Kinder Klub is located at Grangeville Elementary Middle School.

Cost is $90/month and the facility is an ICCP provider. Some financial scholarships are available. Kids Klub is a Star-Rated Facility through IdahoSTARS QRIS. Call Kids Klub at 983-2285.

Clearwater Meal Center luncheon set for July 20

CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Meal Center’s next luncheon is set for Wednesday, July 20, noon. Meals are served the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Clearwater Baptist Church. No charge for the luncheon, $5 donation appreciated when possible. All are welcome. Call 926-7776.

Kooskia Days parade set for Aug. 6; free vendor booths available

KOOSKIA – Kooskia Days events are set for Saturday, Aug. 6. This year, Norma Brandt will serve as the grand marshal and the parade will take place at 11 a.m. with judging at 9:30 a.m. Check-in at Fenn Field with lineup by Clearwater Valley Elementary School. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. Pre-register by Aug. 5 for best parade line-up placement. Call Umpqua Bank at 926-4236.

Stockton graduates with masters degree

BOZEMAN, Mont. – William M. Stockton of Lolo, Mont., graduated with a masters of science in science education at Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont. The 18th MSSE commencement ceremony was held July 9.

Stockton is a graduate of Grangeville High School and is the son of Rhonda Stockton and Tom Cassill, Sr., of Grangeville.
