Our loving mother, Zelda Marie Gordon, at the age of 93, passed away Saturday night, July 9, 2016, at her home in White Bird. She was born to Sholto and Mildred Thompson Brodock on June 2, 1923, in White Bird, Idaho.
She married Wayne Eller in May of 1941. They were married 48 years and five months when he died in September of 1989. She married Robert (Bob) Gordon on Feb. 14, 1994, in Quartzsite, Ariz. For 22 years they lived the good life between Quartzsite in the winter and White Bird in the summer.
She is survived by Bob, her four children, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and several first cousins, and Bob’s three children.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A viewing will be held Friday July 15, 2016, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Blackmer Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at the IOOF Hall in White Bird on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at White Bird cemetery. Luncheon will follow the graveside back at the IOOF Hall. Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home of Grangeville. Send condolences to the family to Blackmerfuneralhome.com.
