Classics on the Clearwater set for weekend

KAMIAH — The Third Annual Long Camp “Classics on the Clearwater” swap meet and car show is set for Saturday, June 4, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is located one mile east of the Kamiah river bridge, Hwy 12, m.p. 68.

Admission is four canned goods or more, or a cash donation. Profits generated go to the local Emergency Feeding Outreach program in Kamiah. Show cars and for sale cars will have a $10 entry fee, vendor space available, $10 for a 10 x 10 space. Vendors can set up on Friday noon until 6 p.m. (no security) and Saturday 6 to 8 a.m. Trophies will be awarded for People’s and Judge’s choices, best of show and second place, and best project, car or truck, drivable. Dash plaques will be available for the early arrivals. Hosts are Long Camp RV Park, Pepsi Cola, and all local businesses who donated to this event. Call Chris or Connie, 935-7922. Blood drive set for June 9

GRANGEVILLE — The next Syringa/American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held Thursday, June 9 from noon to 6 p.m., at the Armory. To schedule an appointment to donate, call Dana Groom at 983-8571.

Wildlife workshop for educators to be held this month at Red River

RED RIVER — Idaho Fish and Game will host a WILD about elk workshop targeted for 4th-12th grade teachers. This workshop will help educators learn ways to teach wildlife conservation in the classroom.

The workshop will be held June 13 and 14 at Red River Wildlife Management Area near Elk City.

American Legion Post No. 75 to hold bingo June 3 KAMIAH — American Legion Post No. 75 will hold bingo Friday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at 618 Main Street in Kamiah.

Come out and support area veterans and the community hall with $100 blackout played for, 50/50 drawing, free coffee and concession open.

Dance set for Stites June 5

STITES — The First Sunday dance is set for the Country Center ¼ mile south of Stites on Highway 13, for Sunday, June 5, 1 p.m.

There is a $5 fee for the potluck and dance. For details call Pidge Jenkins at 926-0914.
