The Border Days Committee will again offer a free concert and it will run both July 2 and 3 following the rodeos those nights. The concert will feature The Hitmen.
Are you thinking about making a parade entry for this 105th Border Days? Parade entry deadline is June 25 and anyone interested should call Tanner Maynard at 451-1003.
Something new at the rodeo this year will be Pink Out the Stands for cancer awareness. This will take place Saturday, July 2, 6 p.m. For everyone who wears pink to the rodeo, Grangeville Borders Days will donate $1 to a local cancer fund.
Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) Part of the Grangeville Border Days celebration includes the Hole-in-the-Wall Art Show/Sale and Silent Auction. The art show dates are July 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., (July 3 the show ends at 4 p.m.). A highlight of this year’s show is a silent auction. Silent auction bid winners are announced Sunday, July 3, 3 p.m. This CIAA show features member work and will be held in the hallway of the Holes Mini Mall., 213 W. Main.
Last week I asked if you know both a former and a current Border Days Committee member who each played Grangeville High School football in 1986? That would be former member Bob Mager and current member Gary Canaday.
Now tell me this: Who is the current longest-serving member on the committee? Who is brand new?
