Quilts Of Valor

Several veterans received a Quilt of Valor at the Veteran’s Service held at Grangeville High School on Memorial Day. May 30. Among those are pictured: Jack Spears (Grangeville), Harold Wasem (Grangeville) and Monty Spears (Harpster) with their Quilts of Valor. Jack served in the US Navy in World War II, Wasem (who is Jack’s brother-in-law) served in the US Army in WWII, and Monty served in the US Navy in Vietnam; Glenn Bowman (Grangeville) received a quilt made by Ruth Vrieling. Bowman served in the US Army in World War II.
