Senator Crapo to attend

March 12 town meeting

FERDINAND — Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will meet with residents Saturday, March 12, 3 p.m., at a town meeting in Ferdinand at the Ferdinand Community Center, 240 Front Street.

This event is in a series of town meetings Crapo will be holding in North Central Idaho during the next two weeks. The senator will make a presentation and be open to questions from attendees.


Regarding last week’s MVSD 244 firearm policy story: MVSD does not have a draft firearms policy of its own; it is simply looking at Garden Valley’s policy as a place to start a dialogue on the issue. Patrons with questions or ideas are welcome to attend the next board meeting. – Lorie

Coffee with a Cop event set Saturday, March 26

GRANGEVILLE – The Grangeville Police Department is hosting its monthly Coffee with a Cop event on Saturday, March 26, 9-11 a.m., Grangeville City Hall council chambers.

The public is invited to sit down with GPD Chief Morgan Drew in an informal setting to discuss law enforcement related matters and questions. Donuts and coffee will be provided.
