WHERE WE'LL BE

KOOSKIA - The baseball and softball seasons are scheduled to open today, but weather may yet interfere. The Clearwater Valley boys are set to take on Orofino's JV at 3 p.m., but a CV-Troy game previously set to follow at 5:30 p.m. has been cancelled. Across town at Fenn Field, the CV girls are set to play Asotin at 3 p.m. with the Grangeville girls to play Asotin at 4:45 p.m., if the weather holds up.

If there are late-breaking schedule changes, this post will be updated with details, as will the Idaho County Free Press Facebook page

RAINOUTS REPORTED

Grangeville baseball opener bagged

LEWISTON - The Grangeville baseball team's meet-in-the-middle neutral site game with Bonners Ferry, previously scheduled for Saturday, March 12, at Clearwater Park, has been called off and will not be rescheduled. That bumps the GHS boys' season opener to next Friday, March 18, at the Asotin Tournament.

Pirates' softball opener sacked

LEWISTON - The Prairie softball team's meet-up with Kellogg, previously scheduled for Saturday at noon, has also been rained out. That bumps the PHS girls' season opener to 4 p.m. next Tuesday, March 15, at Asotin.
