Bingo fund-raiser set for April 1

KAMIAH — American Legion Post No. 75 will host a Bingo fund-raiser at the American Legion Hall, 618 Main Street, Friday, April 1, 7:30 p.m. Support the veterans and community hall with a $200 blackout, 50/50 drawing and new games. Free coffee is available and concessions will be open.

Clearwater Meal Center luncheon set for April 6

CLEARWATER — The Clearwater Meal Center’s next luncheon is set for Wednesday, April 6, noon. Meals are served the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Clearwater Baptist Church. No charge for the luncheon, $5 donation appreciated when possible. All are welcome. Call 926-7776.

Eight-week math course set for Grangeville

GRANGEVILLE — Lewis-Clark State College’s Adult Learning Center in Grangeville is offering a free eight-week math readiness course beginning in April.

The course, titled Math 10, is designed to improve basic math skills and prepare individuals for the workforce and college. It will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-3:30 p.m., from April 5 through May 31.

Free breakfast is in Kamiah

KAMIAH — The Kamiah Masonic Lodge will host a free Easter breakfast Saturday, March 26. Breakfast will be pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and juice, and will be available 8 to 10:30 a.m., at the Masonic Lodge, 709 Main Street, Kamiah. Donations are accepted. Legion awards, veterans dinner set for March 26

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville American Legion Post 37 will host the Annual Community Awards and Legion Birthday Dinner Saturday, March 26, at the Grangeville Senior Center from 6-8 p.m. All community veterans are invited. Free health screenings set for Saturday at White Bird

WHITE BIRD — The Partnership for Healthy Communities will be at the IOOF Hall in White Bird this Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, in conjunction with the Rebekah’s bake sale, giving free health screenings.

4-H party to be held April 16

COTTONWOOD — The Idaho County 4-H Party is set for Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m. to noon at the Cottonwood Community Hall.
