Kindergarten screening scheduled for GEMS; Set for April 20



— Mountain View School District 244 will hosts its annual kindergarten screening and registration Wednesday, April 20, at Grangeville Elementary Middle School (GEMS). School age children will be registering for entrance to kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year.

To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2016.

Pick up a preregistration packet and set up a screening appointment at the GEMS office, 400 South Idaho Street, through April 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kindergarten registration and screening will take place at GEMS in the new gym from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring the following items to the screening appointment: kindergarten registration packet obtained from the school, a state issued birth certificate original and a copy for student’s file, immunization record and a copy for the student’s file.
