COTTONWOOD Did you have a good Mother’s Day? The Knights of Columbus were very generous to give roses to all the mothers at the weekend Masses in the Tri-Parish. I got to spend time in the woods with my children, and the sun was shining so it was a good day.
Fr. Paul will be wearing red vestments on this coming weekend at all the Masses to symbolize the love of the Holy Spirit and the tongues of fire that came to rest on the heads of the apostles on Pentecost. Everyone is asked to wear red to Mass on Pentecost Sunday. There will be coffee hour following all three Masses to celebrate the birthday of the church.
The Cottonwood School District will be holding preschool developmental screening for children ages birth-5 years at Prairie Elementary School on Wednesday, May 25, from 8:30-noon. To schedule an appointment call Cottonwood Elementary School, 962-3521.
Cottonwood School District spring concerts are set. Prairie Junior Senior High School will be presenting their spring concert on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the PHS gym.
