Crabtree, Duman are 'Republicans' strongly supported by Democrats

Letter to the Editor - web extra

Republicans? It is well-known in the political ‘mish mush’ of Idaho County politics that currently a Democrat cannot get voted into office.

Not since Democrat Jim Rehder was voted off the Idaho County Commission and we ended up with the ‘train wreck’ sitting in the White House for nearly eight years now. So what’s going on? We have Republican incumbents that seem to be doing a great job and now we have “Republican” contenders in the primary challenging them.

Crabtree and Duman are “Republicans” strongly supported by Democrats, not Republicans. Ought to be a big red flag for the conservative-minded.

You don’t have to believe me, just look at the yards across Idaho County that sport their campaign signs. From Cottonwood Butte to Carrot Ridge, every Idaho County Democrat I know has either a Duman or Crabtree sign in their front yard. An FYI – you at least need to know who you are voting for.
