COTTONWOOD Wasn’t that a nice rain we received all day on Sunday? Maybe it changed your plans for the day, but everything looks so nice and green so it was worth it. It is past May 10 and my king birds are not back!
Lawn mowers are needed at Holy Cross Church in Keuterville. There is a schedule posted inside the entrance at Holy Cross Church. If you can volunteer a weekend to mow the lawn around the church and garage your time will be gratefully appreciated, sign up on the schedule. You will need to provide your own mower. PFFP annual May Crowning and Balloon Rosary will be May 25, 12:30-3 p.m. at the Catholic Education Center (CEC) behind the Prairie Elementary School. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please join us!
Congratulations to Chaye Uptmor of Prairie High School for earning the Interscholastic Star Award recently. The awards are presented biannually by the Idaho High School Activities Association and its state championship sponsor, the United Dairymen of Idaho.
Veterans town hall meeting is May 26
COTTONWOOD — The Richard Jacobs VFW Post 4902 in Cottonwood, Idaho is sponsoring a Veterans Town Hall Meeting Thursday, May 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cottonwood Community Hall located at 506 King St.
On a Swing and a Prayer: KC Golf Tournament will be July 9 in Grangeville. Main event co-sponsors are U.S. Bank and Brown Stauss Steel. Spots are available for tee and hole sponsors, and they are taking reservations for team spots. Contact Ryan at 791-0492 or Zach at 791-6130.
