Two District 7 legislators were recently honored by the Idaho Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) with its “Friend of Agriculture” award.
Dist. 7A Representative Shannon McMillan (R) of Silverton scored 93 percent in voting on select bills that were important to agriculture and IFBF members during the past two legislative sessions, according to a press release.
“Representative McMillan has proven to be a solid supporter of agriculture and natural resource industries,” according to IFBF President Bryan Searle,” and we appreciate her dedication in the legislature.”
Senator Sheryl Nuxoll of Cottonwood (R) of Cottonwood scored 100 percent in voting on agriculture issues in the past two legislative sessions.
“Senator Nuxoll has proven to be a great supporter of agriculture,” said Mike Frei, president of the Idaho County Farm Bureau, “and we appreciate her dedication to limited government and individual liberty in the legislature.”
This year, five Idaho senators and 37 representatives received the IFBF’s “Friend of Agriculture” award.
