Cottonwood Senior Citizens

Agnes Forsman opened the May 17 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance and Larry Clark led the dinner prayer. Guests were Charlotte and Hank Dasenbrock. There were 56 meals served with 33 home-delivered meals. Katie Remacle won the free dinner.

Mel Willis was the nickel bingo winner and Marianne Wren won the blackout. Door prize winners were Dina Nuxoll, Mariel Arnzen, Mel Willis, Ivan Nuxoll, Marianne Wren and Ned Forsmann..

Come join us for a meal every Tuesday for a small donation at the Cottonwood Community Church basement. Meals are served at noon.

Menu for May 31: roasted turkey, vegetable, sliced oranges, cupcake.

Grangeville Senior Citizens

The May 16 meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stanley Modrell and the prayer was given by Jim Myers. The free dinner drawing came to Phyllis Gilmore. There were 71 meals served and 41 hot meals home delivered. Guest was Arnanda Schellerman.

The May 20 meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stanley Modrell and the prayer was given by Orville Biggers. The free dinner drawing came to Lewis Endsley. There were 97 meals served and home-delivered were 43 hot and 70 frozen. Guests were Connie Workman, Shelia Boyer, Art Moore, Darlene West and Gwen Smith.

Nickel bingo winners were Eileen Hazelbaker and Jim Barnett. Blackout winner was Willene Lance.

The Old time Fiddlers entertained with wonderful music.

The menu for May 27: old-fashioned hamburgers, sliced tomatoes, potato salad and apricots; May 30: Memorial Day, closed, no meal.
