Dist. 7 Legislature
State Senate: Carl Crabtree (R) of Grangeville, and Ken Meyers (D) of Sagle.

Riggins residents will be deciding on a city local-option non-property tax. This will retain the city’s existing 2 percent local-option tax on sales of lodging rentals, liquor by the drink, and prepared meals; and it would add a 1 percent local-option tax rate on all other taxable retail sales. Generated tax revenue will fund city infrastructure and capital projects and equipment.
Patrons of Good Roads Highway District and Union Highway District will be deciding whether to consolidate into a single jurisdiction, to be named the Union Independent Highway District.
Patrons of the Kamiah Fire Protection District will be deciding on a $95,000 special tax levy to pay for fire protection apparatus, equipment, facilities maintenance, and to provide for firefighter safety and training.
