Do you enjoy reading? Book-N-Hand, a new book store (with “books, et cetera”) opened Monday at 158 East Main Street, Grangeville. Stop by and see what they have to offer.
The Grangeville Senior Center will be serving a free prime rib meal at their annual holiday luncheon with donations being accepted to help offset the cost. Seating may be limited so reservations are encouraged. Call 983-2033 to reserve a spot.
Don’t forget: The Old Opera House Theatre on Kooskia’s Main Street will present its Old-Fashioned Christmas Variety Show Thursday, Dec. 22, and Friday, Dec. 23, 7:30 p.m., each night. Local talent will take the stage for a good old-fashioned Christmas evening of music, dance, and homemade desserts ready to purchase. Call Grave’s GreenThumb Nursery at 926-0094 to reserve tickets now as the show is popular and sells out quickly.
An open house and Lula Roe party is set for Friday, Dec. 2, 4 to 7 p.m., at 421 South C Street. Call 791-2499 for details.
