Clearwater Valley’s Cole Olsen ran a 17:35 good for first place last Thursday, Oct. 20, at the district championships cross-country meet held at Grangeville Country Club. Olsen’s time ranks in the top 20 statewide, among results reported to athletic.net this season. While that ranking is not comprehensive, it bodes well for Olsen’s chances at the state meet to be held at the Portneuf Wellness Complex in Pocatello on Saturday, Oct. 29. Olsen’s race is penciled in for a 12:15 p.m. MT start time.

Also qualifying out of the district race were Grangeville’s Adam Wonnacott and the Prairie High girls team.
