Project Coat Giveaway

Grangeville High School senior Payton Moore collected coats and winter accessories as his senior project. Saturday, Oct. 22, Moore distributed those items at the Eagles Hall to anyone in need. He gave away 81 coats and all of the hats, gloves and scarfs. Moore said he “really enjoyed this project and loved watching the kids pick out coats was worth all the work. The community was awesome — they donated a lot of coats and Tracy Bush donated a bunch of new ones. I think the coat drive was a success and hope that another senior will choose to do this project next year.”
