Trump: ready for him to try to help the country

Letter to the Editor

I have realized that I have watched more news channels than any other election time. It almost feels like what new corrupt thing about Hillary or what new discussion about Donald’s political incorrectness or his indiscretions are going to be in the news tomorrow. It’s entertaining but “sad.”

Hillary is such a disappointment in so many ways, and Donald is so chauvinistic and arrogant/ I have to look at this realistically. Donald is right in saying how many years has Hillary had to get things right? She is not going to change. As for Donald, I think most men (especially in their 70s) have a lot of opinions like he has but they just don’t voice them like he does. This man is full of confidence with many years of experiences that have made him that way. His children are his best asset. What a tribute for him. One of the newscasters sarcastically said, “He acts like this is a reality show.” What bigger reality show could there possibly be than being president? I’m ready for that “Arrogant-Confident” to try to help our country. I don’t want any part of continuing the past few years and I am looking forward to Donald’s new reality show.

P.S. – I have great respect for Doug Giddings (for sheriff) and his daughter, Priscilla Giddings (for representative, District 7). They will have my vote!

P.P.S. – When did we quit addressing our elected officials respectfully, like “President Reagan, President Bush, etc.? We now call our president Barack or Obama. When Donald is president, I will address him as President Trump. If Hillary gets in I will still call her Hillary. Thanks to Bill Clinton when he was in office that “respect” changed. I hope we get it back.
