Grangeville’s cross-country program consists of two boys with big aspirations this fall, under the tutelage of coach Jim Suhr. “I’m very happy they have the opportunity to run,” Suhr said last Thursday, Sept. 1. “I’m ecstatic for them.” Suhr said they’re setting their sights on the state meet, and in order to run in Pocatello, the Bulldogs will both need to qualify individually. The season will be underway come Saturday, Sept. 10, when Adam Wonnacott (left) and Justin Detweiler (right) step to the starting line at Asotin, at Chief Timothy Island. GHS has six other events scheduled, and, because the Sept. 1 home meet was cancelled, the Bulldogs may also add an Oct. 20 event with Prairie.
