Keeler appointed by governor to Serve Idaho Commission

— Kristi Keeler of Grangeville was recently appointed by Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter to Serve Idaho, the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism.

“Our commissioners bring a wealth of knowledge and energy to the commission as well as first-hand knowledge of the benefits and rewards of service in our communities.” said Renee Bade, program manager for Serve Idaho.

Keeler is a Love and Logic facilitator, a member of IdahoSTARS, a Parent Teacher Association member and a Grangeville Booster member. She is a program director for The Kids Klub Inc., a youth development program in Grangeville where she has more than 16 years of teaching experience. Keeler has an associate’s degree in early child development and is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in the same field. Her interest area for the commission is working with youth and to represent community-based organizations and youth.
