Oscar’s Restaurant makes changes for winter season; Main dining area closed; Brodock’s remains open

— Customers will notice some changes at Oscar’s Restaurant, located on Grangeville’s Main Street, this week.

“We are closing the large dining area for the winter,” said Mike Asker, who along with Laurie Rockwell, runs the eatery.

Asker said the large area is difficult to heat, and help to keep that big of an area running has been hard to find.

“We will be keeping Brodock’s open, and it’s definitely available for family dining,” he explained.

He said there have been some menu changes and price reductions, and he invites everyone to stop by and check it out.

Though the large dining area will be closed for the winter, the conference/meeting room is available for meetings, such as the continued Lions Club and Encourager get-togethers.

“We can provide food for those groups and even have a large 85-person event coming in,” he said. “We are more than happy to plan for those types of events; just give us a call.”

Asker said they will focus on the quality of food and excellent service and will make plans to open up the large restaurant dining area in the spring.

“We also have our full list of Northwest beers and will be adding a fall line at Brodock’s,” he emphasized.

The restaurant will be closed Sundays and Mondays. Call 983-2106 with questions or to reserve a meeting space. Catering is also available for special meetings or events.
