Blackwood Legacy to perform at Grangeville Nazarene May 1

GRANGEVILLE – Save the date for Monday, May 1, at 7 p.m. Blackwood Legacy will hold a concert at the Grangeville Church of the Nazarene.

The group is a southern/country gospel/worship quartet that is an extension of the group the Blackwood Brothers who started in the ’70s. Their group owner and bassist, Rick Price, was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

Everyone is welcome.

United Methodist Church lists activities

GRANGEVILLE — Each Sunday in April, the United Methodist Church of Grangeville will host worship services at Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center, with the church choir sharing special music some Sundays.

On Thursday, April 13, 6:30 pm, Maundy Thursday services are set for the church, 404 West Main Street. All are welcome.

Easter Sunday, April 16, church worship service is at 11 a.m. with the choir singing two special anthems.

Good Friday service set at Holy Trinity

GRANGEVILLE — Friday, April 14, 5 p.m., a Good Friday service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 311 South Hall Street. All are welcome. Call 451-0645.

Salmon River Community Church sets Easter services

RIGGINS — The Salmon River Community Church will hold its Easter sunrise service Sunday, April 16, 8 a.m. MST, outside at the Steelhead Inn, 14 miles North of Riggins. Easter breakfast will follow with mcmuffins, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. There will also be an Easter Service at 11 a.m., at the church followed by a potluck Easter dinner in the fellowship room. Everyone is invited to attend either or both services.

Kretzmann to discuss refugee camp service at April 6 Encouragers

GRANGEVILLE — Nathalie Kretzmann shares about volunteering at a refugee camp at Lesvos, Greece with Encouragers, Thursday, April 6, at a 11 a.m., no-host luncheon at Oscar’s Restaurant. She and husband, Peter, worked with CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) in Greece and also in Tajikistan last fall. They worked with children in Asia. Note the time change to 11 a.m. to cooperate with the National Day of Prayer activities May 4.

Kretzmann has a master’s degree in human development, child and family; and has worked with children and families in multiple ways. She especially likes teaching parenting classes and working with individual families.

Sunrise Easter service set for Kooskia

KOOSKIA – Gateway Christian Fellowship will host its Easter sunrise service Sunday, April 16, 6:30 a.m., at the Pankey home. Call 926-4417 for directions.

The regular Easter service will be at the church at 11 a.m.

Riggins Assembly of God to hold services

RIGGINS — Riggins Assembly of God Church will serve Easter breakfast at 8 a.m. in their fellowship hall followed by Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., and Easter service at 10:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of these Easter activities.
