— Rhe Grangeville Farmers’ Market is in full swing. The fourth and final Thursday evening market will be held this week during the Grangeville Arts Summer Concert Series, 6 p.m. Saturday markets will continue in the Pioneer Park through Sept. 16.

Farmers selling their wares include dairy, meat, feed, and produce. Crafts, including aprons, mobiles, dish cozies, jewelry, and more are offered. Leather repair and fine handwork lessons are on site, also.

SyndiCat Bros., Pete Northcutt and Johnnie Henderson, will be playing for tips on Saturday, Aug. 5. Free coffee will be served. The Grub Club, for children ages 5-12, will continue with a variety of activities. The Grub Club is free with two wooden nickels worth $1 each given out to members, each Saturday. Word has it that a chicken will be visiting the market on this Saturday, Aug. 5.

Sept. 2 will find the annual market survey with a twist this year. Completed surveys will be collected and three will be drawn for $5 gift certificates.

Tomatoes are in demand with the late ripening season. If anyone has extra tomatoes, bring them to sell at the market. A free half table, under an awning. is offered twice a season to vendors.

The free non-profit table and awning can be reserved by calling Michelle Perdue at 983 3763. Remember, EBT cards (food stamps) are accepted by the market.
