Grangeville’s Crazy Days are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Check out The Shopper and Free Press for special ads and get downtown to scoop up some great deals!

Free sports physicals are set for Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Syringa Clinic, 4-6 p.m., and Wednesday, Aug. 2, 1-5 p.m., at Syringa Kooskia Clinic. No appointment necessary and no cost. There’s a contest for local charities through Roger’s Toyota in Lewiston, and you can vote for ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) to help them win $5,000.

You have until Aug. 31 to vote and you can vote daily. Go to and click on the ARF logo.

Pine Tree Community Credit Union will host its Customer Appreciation Barbecue Friday, Aug. 4, in Grangeville and Riggins, with lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
