Mandatory GHS volleyball meeting set for tonight, Aug. 9

GRANGEVILLE – Grangeville High School’s volleyball meeting is set for Wednesday, Aug. 9, 6:30 p.m., in the GHS gym. Parent and player must attend. Tryouts will be Aug. 11, 12, and 14, 9-11:30 a.m., and 2-4:30 p.m. each day.

MOPS fair scheduled for this Saturday

GRANGEVILLE – A resource fair for mothers is set for this Saturday, Aug. 12, 9 a.m. to noon, at Real Life Ministries (by The Gym).

A variety of resources, including tutoring and other community opportunities, will be available for parents to talk to people about and receive information.

The event is sponsored by Camas Prairie Mothers of Preschoolers.

Youth M.O.V.E. meeting set for Thursday, Aug. 10

GRANGEVILLE — Youth M.O.V.E. (Motivating Others through Voices of Experience) will be meeting on Thursday, Aug. 10, 6-8 p.m. at the Soltman Center. Idaho Youth M.O.V.E. is sponsored by Idaho Federation of Families and provides an opportunity for youth to use their voice to impact their communities in a positive way.

For information, like the Facebook page (Idaho Youth MOVE - Grangeville) or come to the parent/community meeting from 5 to 6 p.m., on Thursday, also at the Soltman Center.
