Rocannon and Tara don welding masks in Lowell to view the eclipse.
As of Tuesday, August 22, 2017
By the time this paper is printed the eclipse will be over, but I’ll know how to spell “eclipse” without having to use spell check! Many Lowell friends and families got together and met on top of Coolwater Mountain; Mike and Lara Smith and girls have friends visiting to be here for the eclipse. Kevin from NYC and Granger from Texas. Donn and Kelley from up on the Mountain, Richard and Sally, Frank and Faye, Becky, from Downtown Lowell. All met up on the mountain. Mike and Marie Smith watched it from the Selway Bridge! Once in a lifetime, how great is that! Ok it’s over, let’s go on with our lives!
The photos on line of the Lolo Fire are pretty intense. I have a bag packed in case the wind shifts! The bag has toothbrush, pjs, clean underwear and my free eclipse viewer from the Tribune.
Three Rivers Rafting had a big trip come off the Lower Salmon River this week. It’s been a busy year and school will start soon.
The MERMS are heading back to school, and mom, too, in the library!
Max turns 4 on Sept. 6, big party on Monday the 4th, then he starts preschool in Kooskia with Miss Lisa!
I gave Max a haircut for preschool. He said it should be called hairs cut, ‘cause I didn’t cut just one hair.
