Taco feed set for Big Cedar Sept. 8

BIG CEDAR – The annual Navajo Taco Feed to help benefit the Big Cedar Schoolhouse is set for Friday, Sept. 8, at the Big Cedar Schoolhouse from 5-7 p.m.

American Legion to meet Sept. 6

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville American Legion Post No. 37 will have the first fall meeting Wednesday, Sept. 6, 7 p.m., at the Idaho County Veterans and Community Outreach Center. All members are encouraged to attend and bring dues for 2017 if not already paid. In addition, donations for the local food bank drive in either cash or non-perishable canned goods can be brought to the meeting. Reports from both the state and national conventions will be given by those attending. Contact Post Adjutant Don Owen at 208-983-1191.

Clearwater Meal Center luncheon set for Sept. 6 CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Meal Center’s next luncheon is set for Wednesday, Sept. 6, noon. Meals are served the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Clearwater Baptist Church. No charge for the luncheon, $5 donation appreciated when possible. All are welcome. Call 926-7776.

Bible Club set to begin Sept. 11 at GGT GRANGEVILLE – Bible Club at Grangeville Gospel Tabernacle (GGT) will begin Monday, Sept. 11, at the church at 613 N. State Street, 3:30 p.m., and run through 5 p.m.This is for kids ages 4 years through sixth grade. There will be Bible stories, activities, songs and snacks. Kids can ride bus No. 6 from school. Barbecue Days service set for Sunday

KAMIAH — This Sunday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m., The Life Center will host church services at Riverfront Park. Bring a chair, a friend and a side dish. The church is providing hamburgers, hot dogs and potato salad.
