Do you suffer from low back pain? Do you live in Clearwater, Idaho or Lewis counties?

Peg Gehring, FNP, is conducting a survey about low back pain. She is working on identifying the different types of pain management used in these three county areas. She hopes to learn the most common pain management tools, and see which type of management allows the most relief and ability to stay active. You do not need a doctor’s recommendation to participate and there is no need to go to a hospital or clinic to complete the survey, although surveys are available at all area hospitals and clinics if you’d like to pick them up there. Just go online to http://northcentralidahosurvey.org/ Surveys are due by Sept. 15, so do not delay! Your input is critical!

For all questions contact Peg Gehring at 208-790-9852, 607 West North St., Grangeville, ID 83530.

Emma’s Mexican Food has opened at the Mac’s Bar building in White Bird, served every day except Tuesdays. Meals are $7 each and various specials are offered daily. Delivery is also available in some areas. Call 509-770-3725 or 509-770-0767.

Congratulations to United Country Musick and Sons, Grangeville, for making the 2017 list of America’s Best Brokerages.

United Country Musick and Sons is a member of the Potlatch Preferred Broker Network.

Musick was among the “America’s Best Brokerages 2017,” named by the prestigious Land Report magazine in the sixth annual report.

You have probably noticed Idaho Stage Construction out of the Kamiah-Kooskia areas has been working on building something next to Hilltop Café in Grangeville. The rumor is this will be a drive-through ATM for Freedom Northwest Credit Union, much like the one they have in Colfax, Wash. Freedom Northwest has branches in Kooskia and Kamiah and has put splash parks in both those communities. I’ll keep you posted when this is confirmed (or not!)

Also, I have had several people tell me they have heard that Family Dollar is coming in to the former King’s store. I don’t know about that, but that’s the rumblings I am hearing. You know how rumors are, so don’t take that to the bank!
